Health and Safety Executive

We are the Industry Division of IJM Group, one of Malaysia’s leading conglomerates. We are now looking for an experienced and passionate Health and Safety Officer to join our team!

Responsibilities:

• Ensure implementation and continuous improvement in overall HSE System.
• Ensure that safety and health practices are in accordance with company and government mandates.
• Ensure that all contractual/ company and authority requirements for HSE requirements are complied with.
• Ensure that all non-conformance issues are promptly investigated, CA are proposed and closed out.
• Investigating accidents, perilous incidents and workplace-related diseases.
• Writing, submitting and filing incident reports with recommendations.
• To promote HSE to all members of the organization, including management, supervisors and workers for their commitment and involvement in the HSE management system.

Requirements:

• Preferably 1 to 2 years of relevant experiences in occupational safety and health in construction industry.
• Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Safety & Health/ Engineering/ Science or equivalent.
• Registered Safety & Health Officer with DOSH Malaysia (Green Book)
• Understanding in HSE management system, ISO 45001 & ISO 14001 will be an added advantage.
