Key Responsibilities:

Local Assignment:

  • Perform in-house testing, including Electrical & Pressure Tests, Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), and Site Acceptance Tests (SAT).
  • Conduct site commissioning/start-up for analytical systems and project-related jobs.
  • Ensure that testing records and other related technical documents for each analytical system are kept and maintained in the department's documentation system.
  • Take ownership of and comply with all departmental and company initiatives.
  • Coordinate internally and externally regarding issues related to projects, overseas commissioning, and local maintenance activities.
  • Provide customer service for preventive maintenance and shutdown of analytical systems.
  • Carry out on-call/emergency service jobs for local customers.
  • Support departmental training initiatives and assist in developing the skills of new engineers and technicians.
  • Contribute to departmental initiatives on customer service, best practices, testing methods, documentation, job planning, and project execution.
  • Support company initiatives on safety and continuous improvement.
  • May be assigned to long-term service contracts in Jurong Island.

Overseas Assignment:

  • Perform site commissioning/start-up services for analyzer systems.
  • Be willing to accept assignments for overseas long/short-term maintenance contracts.

Requirements:

  • Polytechnic Diploma / Degree / its equivalent in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation.
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with refinery, petrochemical, and power plant analyzers.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills in both written and oral English.
  • Proficient in writing effective service reports.
  • Experience working with Hart communicators, computers, and PLCs.
