What You Need to Bring to Us:

  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey/Construction/Building or equivalent.
    • At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in tiling.
  • Skills:
    • Good communication and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Team player attitude.
    • Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
  • What You Need to Do:

  • Support Pre-Tender Processes:
    • Evaluate and assess tenders.
    • Assess risk factors to aid in bid decisions.
    • Estimate material, equipment, and manpower needs for cost estimates.
  • Client and Consultant Coordination:
    • Enquire, consult, and coordinate with client and consultant representatives for specifications and BOQ clarifications.
    • Attend pre-tender meetings if necessary.
  • Technical Evaluation:
    • Study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical perspective.
    • Identify risk factors and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
    • Coordinate with the concerned person for overall risk assessment and bid decisions.
  • Vendor Management:
    • Maintain a list of eligible vendors for upcoming bids.
  • Cost Estimation and Documentation:
    • Finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs.
    • Consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.
  • Reporting and Monitoring:
    • Monitor deadlines and generate weekly tender status reports.
    • Prepare and generate monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/losses.
    • Maintain and archive tender files upon completion.
