What You Need to Bring to Us:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Survey/Construction/Building or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of relevant working experience, preferably in tiling.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team player attitude.
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with Mandarin as a plus for communicating with Mandarin-speaking clients.
What You Need to Do:
- Evaluate and assess tenders.
- Assess risk factors to aid in bid decisions.
- Estimate material, equipment, and manpower needs for cost estimates.
- Enquire, consult, and coordinate with client and consultant representatives for specifications and BOQ clarifications.
- Attend pre-tender meetings if necessary.
- Study, analyze, and evaluate tender documents from a technical perspective.
- Identify risk factors and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Coordinate with the concerned person for overall risk assessment and bid decisions.
- Maintain a list of eligible vendors for upcoming bids.
- Finalize estimation of all direct and indirect costs.
- Consolidate tender documents for management review and approval.
- Monitor deadlines and generate weekly tender status reports.
- Prepare and generate monthly progress reports highlighting tender wins/losses.
- Maintain and archive tender files upon completion.
