RESPONSIBILITIES

  • To ensure the department is running in its optimum condition via effective quality activities
    planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling.
  • Execution of all the documentation and testing method are complying with the
    ISO/ASTM/SMG/AS specification.
  • Liaise with QA/R&D on testing changed in material, formulation and process.
  • Ensure proper preparation of chemical dispersion and latex compounding with correct chemical
    composition added.
  • Coordinate with production, R&D and planner on new product switching.
  • Planning, forecast and report on stock level and usage of all the latex, compounding chemicals
    and trigger order.
  • Monitor and review compounded chemical and latex results and take necessary action if
    required.
  • To conduct product improvement programs (R&D) when it is necessary.
  • Communicate information and projects up and down the chain of command.
  • Manage equipment and tools maintenance and preservations tasks to ensure equipment is
    functioning well to minimize damages from wear and tear to reduce compound downtime.
  • Ensure compliance of material control and hygiene control of compounding section.
  • Ensure ISO documentation and forms are properly implemented and maintained.

REQUIREMENTS:-

  • Minimum Degree or Master in Chemical Engineering/ Chemical Science Technology/
    Polymer Science Technology/ Polymer Engineering or other equivalent related with Latex/
    Rubber/ Polymer.
  • 10 years related working experiences in manufacturing.
  • Knowledge in ISO 9001 QMS, ISO 45001 OSHMS, & ISO 14001 EMS
  • Compounding latex, planning, and inventory management.
  • Computer literate (MS Office, Excel and Power Point).
  • Compounding technical skills.
  • Good analytical skills, interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent Managerial and Leaderships skills.
  • Strong decision making.
  • Able to work independent with minimum supervision.
