Job Summary

The Human Resource Executive handles recruitment, employee onboarding, HR policy enforcement, and statutory compliance. This role also supports training and development, oversees foreign worker welfare, and liaises with government bodies. Strong communication, organizational skills, and HR knowledge are essential, with experience in foreign worker management preferred.

Job Description

1. Recruitment

  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job ad posting, screening, shortlisting, and coordinating interviews with the hiring Manager and HR manager.
  • Manage employee onboarding.

2. Employee Management

  • Enforce HR policies effectively.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee data in the payroll system.
  • Monitor contract dates and complete necessary documentation.

3. Compliance and Liaison

  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and maintain proper documentation.
  • Serve as the liaison with government and statutory bodies.

4. Foreign Worker Management

  • Oversee foreign worker welfare, discipline, and benefits.
  • Establish and lead the hostel committee to strive for a conducive living environment.
  • Enforce hostel rules, conduct regular inspections and propose improvement action plans when necessary.

5. Employee Training and Development

  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Organize and coordinate internal and external training sessions.
  • Maintain training records and evaluate program effectiveness.
  • Support employee growth through continuous learning and development initiatives.

6. Additional Responsibilities

  • Draft HR and administrative documents, including employment agreements, confirmations, salary adjustments, and warning letters.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.

Ideal candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • 2-3 years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or production industries.
  • Strong knowledge of HR policies, labour laws, and statutory compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suit
  • Experience in foreign worker management is an advantage.
