Job Purpose:

A Solution Architect is responsible for designing, describing, and managing the solution engineering concerning specific business problems. They work with both technical and business stakeholders to develop technology solutions that align with the organization's overall strategy

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Solution Design & Architecture:
  • Design and architect technical solutions to meet business requirements, ensuring they are aligned with enterprise goals.
  • Develop technical architecture plans and oversee the end-to-end implementation of the solution.
  • Provide guidance on the integration of new systems with existing infrastructure, considering scalability, performance, and security.
  1. Stakeholder Collaboration:
  • Work closely with business leaders and stakeholders to understand and translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Collaborate with development teams, project managers, and other engineers to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
  • Communicate complex technical details to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  1. Technical Leadership:
  • Lead the development of proof of concepts (PoCs), technical assessments, and prototypes to validate the viability of solutions.
  • Provide oversight and guidance to development teams during solution development, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Ensure best practices in coding, security, infrastructure, and testing are followed.
  1. Compliance & Quality Assurance:
  • Ensure that the proposed solutions comply with industry standards and regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, ISO).
  • Review and validate the architecture designs, ensuring that all quality assurance, performance, and security requirements are met.
  1. Technology Strategy:
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies, software development methodologies, and IT trends to drive innovation.
  • Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture strategy, helping the organization adapt to future technology needs.
  • Evaluate and recommend technology platforms, tools, and vendors.
  1. Documentation & Governance:
  • Maintain detailed architecture documentation, including diagrams, data flows, and technical specifications.
  • Establish governance standards to ensure consistency in the use of architectural practices across projects.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a solution architecture role.
  • Proven track record of delivering scalable and secure IT solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment.
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).

Technical Skills:

  • Expertise in .NET programming language.
  • Proficiency with database technologies (SQL) and system integration tools.
  • Has knowledge of networking, infrastructure, and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD, containerization, orchestration).

Soft Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver under tight deadlines.
