Deputy Manager (Medical Management) -Panel Clinic Management & Projects Management
The Medical Management team member does not only support transaction activity but also involve in strategic activity with supervision from the reporting manager. The individual will not only require maintaining the SLA on the technical support, but also analyse and find solution to improve the SLA and the quality of the medical support with minimum supervision. Apart from technical support to Claims and Underwriting, the Deputy Manager in Medical Management team is expected to provide technical support to Operations and perform quality audit on the assessors. Provide technical support to all departments in PruBSN requiring medical input namely B&C, BCM, Product and Agency. One is expected to analyse the doctor’s clinical practice, recognize any pattern of fraud, wastage or abuse -FWA with minimum supervision and formulate a plan to manage the doctors as discussed with the manager.
As a Medical Management team member, he or she also contribute in managing the medical utilization control by managing the panel’s doctor portfolio, identifying areas of potential saving from the medical and health portfolios. The manager also manages the 400+ panel clinic and maintain the health partners to support the distribution team and the customers with minimum supervision from the manager. Able to make low-medium impact decision making in regards with goal of making sure the customer’s experience at the panel clinic is delightful and consistent.

Job Description
- Collaborate with the HOD and the managers in driving the strategic health optimization initiatives
- Asist in the Partnership management, ensuring contracting and quality performance of the partners/vendors in delivering the agreed solutions
- Work with partner on the digital first healthcare solution
- Prior experience in project management will be a bonus
- Oversee the management of panel clinics, ensuring they meet the required standards and provide quality services to the customers
- The candidate must have Medical Degree from recognized university.
- Full Registration with Malaysian Medical Council will be an advantage
- Experience in the insurance industries is an advantage. Minimum 5 years' experience within clinical or corporate
- Proficiency in Bahasa & English in both verbal and written communication is a must.
- Computer savvy and proficient in words and excel is a must.
- Desire to work in a corporate environment.
