Role Overview:

The Trade Marketing Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing marketing initiatives that support the overall business strategy. This role will manage Below-the-Line (BTL) marketing activities, ensuring alignment with group strategy and direction.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement local marketing plans in alignment with the group’s strategic direction.
  • Plan and execute BTL activities, such as trade promotions, in-store events, and POSM (Point of Sale Materials) deployment to drive customer engagement.

2. Campaign Management:

  • Coordinate with the sales team to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns to achieve business targets.
  • Ensure timely execution of campaigns, measure effectiveness, and adjust strategies based on performance metrics.

3. Sales & Market Analysis:

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze sales data to evaluate campaign impact and provide actionable insights for optimizing future activities.

4. Inventory & Stock Management:

  • Oversee inventory levels to ensure product availability for campaigns and promotions.
  • Work closely with the supply chain and sales teams to optimize stock management and reduce excess inventory.

5. Stakeholder Management:

  • Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, including sales, operations, finance, and supply chain, to support smooth execution of marketing and sales strategies.
  • Act as a bridge between the marketing department and other business units to ensure alignment of objectives.

6. Budget Management:

  • Plan and manage the marketing budget for BTL activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness and alignment with business goals.
  • Track expenses and ROI for all marketing initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.

7. Brand Building & Compliance:

  • Ensure that all marketing activities adhere to brand guidelines and comply with local regulatory requirements.
  • Uphold the company’s brand image and maintain a consistent presence in the market.

8. Reporting & Performance Evaluation:

  • Prepare regular performance reports on marketing activities, sales impact, and market trends.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management to guide strategic decisions.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a marketing role, with exposure to planning & executing BTL activities.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Experience in personal care / skincare category is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM9,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
