ABOUT THE ROLE

The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management within the organization. This role will play a critical part in developing and implementing effective HR strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives, while ensuring the day-to-day HR operations run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Leadership and Management

  • Develop and execute HR strategies that align with the business goals of ECRI.
  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operation of the HR function.
  • Provide strategic leadership and oversight in managing and leading HR initiatives.
  • Foster a team-based culture and ensuring positive interactions with other departments within the company.

Talent Acquisition and Onboarding:

  • Develop, implement and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent.
  • Manage the entire recruitment process, ensuring vacancies are filled within a reasonable timeline.
  • Oversee onboarding processes to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into the organization.

Learning and Development

  • Develop, implement and execute a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with the organization's business objectives.
  • Identify training needs through performance reviews, employee surveys, and other assessments.
  • Facilitate employee development initiatives, such as mentorship programs, coaching, and career development planning.
  • Create and maintain a comprehensive training calendar
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of L&D programs to ensure they are delivering the desired outcomes.

Performance Management:

  • Review, develop and implement performance management systems.
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.
  • Identify training and development needs to support employee growth and performance.

Employee Relations:

  • Manage employee relations issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and investigations.
  • Advise management on employee relations matters and provide guidance on best practices, ensuring adherence to relevant acts and regulations.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Develop and administer competitive compensation and benefits packages, including planning and forecasting associated costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct salary surveys and market analysis to maintain competitive compensation.

HR Operation:

  • Develop and manage the HR department's budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively.
  • Forecast HR-related expenses, such as recruitment costs, training expenditures, and compensation increases.
  • Monitor and control HR spending to ensure that the department operates within budget.
  • Manage HR records, including employee files and performance reviews.
  • Oversee HR data entry and reporting, ensuring accuracy.
  • Oversee HR correspondence and issuance of letters.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures

Employee Engagement and Wellness:

  • Develop and implement employee engagement initiatives
  • Promote a healthy work-life balance and support employee well-being.
  • Organize employee events and activities.

Others

  • Other ad-hoc HR projects and initiatives as assigned by the superior.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Candidates must be authorized to work in Malaysia without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or Business Administration with a specialization in HR)
  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in a HR function.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
  • Strong experience in Employee Relations and best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with employees and management.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
