Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Sales, you will be responsible for all activities related to direct sales of the services of the organisation.
  • You will also be expected to support all marketing efforts as directed by the SVP.
  • You will be responsible for attaining the sales quota that has been allocated to you, both from existing businesses as well as from new clientele.
  • The job also requires you to collaborate and build/strengthen relationships with relevant principals, suppliers and distributors of the company as part of the process towards achieving your sales quota.
  • In addition, you will be expected to strategise with principals on the most optimum solutions to meet individual customer requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related fields such as Business Administration or Marketing. Those with a Diploma and/or with recognised certifications, with proven years of relevant experience, will also be considered.
  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in IT Security Sales and Marketing. Candidates who are experienced in providing consultancy services in software sales to large organisations will also be considered.
  • You will be expected to understand cybersecurity landscape, market trends and the specific needs of potential clients; in addition, you should be able to provide broad-based options/solutions to address these needs.
  • Networking is a necessary aspect of the job; you will be expected to build relationships within the cybersecurity industry and connect with potential clients. You are also expected to attend industry events, conferences and join relevant professional associations as well as develop a good relationship with competitors.
  • You will be expected to undertake structured market research as part of your job – this includes identifying potential clients and assessing additional needs for existing clients.
  • You will be required to build your knowledge on industry trends and performance of competitors - mainly as critical input towards marketing strategies and offerings by the company.
  • You will also be expected to develop and present case studies or success stories showcasing how solutions from the company have benefitted other clients; hence, excellent spoken and written English is mandatory for this position
  • Strong inter-personal skills are expected as much of the business interaction will be with C-suite leaders from various industries.
