Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at HOUSESIFU SDN. BHD. in Setia Alam Selangor. As an Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of our financial reporting and accounting processes. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our company.

What you'll be doing

• Receiving and processing all claim forms.
• Handle daily accounting transaction including data entry, invoicing and payments.
• Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Reconciling bank statements and other accounts to ensure the integrity of financial data
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports
• Implementing and maintaining internal control procedures to ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
• Providing financial analysis and insights to support business decision-making
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure the timely and accurate reporting of financial information
• Staying up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations, and implementing necessary adjustments

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• Knowledge of applicable accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
• Commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and integrity in financial reporting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
