Assistant Manager Supply Chain

• Can organize and streamline the process of combining products from different manufacturers or suppliers before they make their way to regional distribution centers.
• Sorting procedures should be used to improve the flow of items and cut down on handling time.
• Incorporate cutting edge technologies to improve visibility and control over middle mile logistics operations, including tracking systems, route optimization tools, and real-time monitoring.
• Use innovative tactics to optimize retail efficiencies, keeping an eye on sustainability and minimizing environmental effect while cutting transit times, costs, and improving overall supply chain efficiency.
• Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts for the supply chain, supporting proactive decision-making and resource allocation.
• Coordinate and manage procurement processes and to ensure all the processes are aligned to the policy.
• Optimize inventory management systems
• Analyze supply chain data to identify and address issues that requires urgent attention.
• Support strategic supply chain initiatives to ensure the operations always runs at optimum level.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve workflow efficiency
• Monitor and report on key supply chain metrics

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3-5 years of experience in supply chain management or a similar role
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes and best practices
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proven ability to manage supplier and vendor relationships
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
