Role Description

The Cafe Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, handling sales and promotions, and maintaining high standards of food and beverage service.

Qualifications

  1. Lead, mentor, and develop the Café Crew to ensure optimal performance.
  2. Guide the team in delivering outstanding customer service, particularly in coffee and tea preparation.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all inventories, including ingredients, supplies, and equipment.
  4. Monitor stock levels daily, ensuring adequate supplies for regular operations and special events.
  5. Conduct regular stocktakes and resolve discrepancies between actual inventory and recorded data.
  6. Promote the full range of our signature beverages to enhance customer satisfaction.
  7. Manage all financial operations with honesty, efficiency, and accuracy.
  8. Ensure the health and safety of everyone in the café, adhering to safety regulations.
  9. Take pride in leading the maintenance of a clean, organized, and visually appealing café in line with health and safety standards.
  10. Create and manage staff schedules.
  11. Provide oversight for multiple outlets when necessary.

What We're Looking For:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience managing a café or a similar food and beverage outlet.
  2. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail.
  3. Strong coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is preferred.
  5. A customer-focused mindset with a passion for service.
  6. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  7. Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.
