Business Development Engineer

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible to manage Company Sales Growth, Solution Selling, Customer Service Satisfaction & Product Knowledge by respective business partner’s requirement.

A day in the life of...

• Achieving / exceeding set project sales targets through spec-in.
• Execute / implement & feedback set project plans & strategies.
• Provide total solution to customers in the air filter field.
• Extend excellent relationship to business partners & customers.
• Extend good working rapport with all level of staff & customers.
• Develop, expand & sustain distribution network.
• Work with all business partners closely, to gain their trust & confidence to use AAF filters in their project requirements.
• Provide sound technical support & total solution to all sales enquiries / project bids / tenders; equipment selection to designing; pre to post sales assistance.
• Assist in corporate activities – e.g., Seminar on Product Launching, Product Training for Maintenance Staff, etc.
• Gather feedback on competitors’ activities for market information sharing.
• Gather & follow-up on product quality issues with R&D team until problem is resolved.
• Work closely with & monitor sub-contractors’ engineering and installation work progress at project sites – assisting in installation processes and contract requirements are met.
• Extend value added assistance to customers during bidding / tendering preparation.
• Other assigned duties as required by superior / management from time to time.

What will make you successful

• Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Mechatronics / Chemical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 1 - 2 years’ working experience in in Air Filtration Equipment, Cleanroom or HVAC industry. However, fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Possess good problem-solving ability and impressive presentation skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Demonstrate good analytical thinking, interpersonal & communication skills.
• Strong analysis, planning, Initiative & able to work independently.
• Systematic & positive problem-solving approach.
