Job Overview:
The Assistant Head of Academics supports the Head of Academics in overseeing the academic programs and curriculum development, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s curriculum to ensure it meets educational standards and the needs of all students.
Monitor and assess academic performance across grades, identifying areas for improvement and supporting staff in instructional practices.
Provide guidance and mentorship to teachers, facilitating professional development opportunities and promoting best practices in teaching.
Help coordinate academic programs, including enrichment activities, assessments, and interventions for students.
Foster open communication between faculty, students, and parents regarding academic policies and student progress.
Ensure adherence to educational regulations and standards set by governing bodies.
Communicate effectively with the Head of Academics and CEO for academic related matters.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field, Master’s degree preferred.
