  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

  2. Click. then Settings.

  5. Click JavaScript.

THE JOB

  • Regulatory Compliance
    • Assist the Manager and control the provision of technical support and consultancy to other departments on maritime regulatory requirements and other related legislation to meet business units and customer's requirements on optimizing availability, safety, and cost efficiency across MISC Marine’s growing global fleet.
    • Monitor the latest information on statutory legislations, classification rules & regulations, customer requirements; evaluate the impacts on both newbuilding's and existing vessels and provide recommendations.
    • To manage research on new technology to meet the new regulations.
    • To facilitate the Project for implementation of new technology to meet the new regulations.

    2. Innovative Initiatives

    • Assist the Manager and drive the research on 'new technology as per Fleet operation / BU & customer requirement.
    • Review & provide consultation and recommend cost effective solutions recommendations.

    3. Technical Consultation

    • Assist the Manager in engineering study and recommend improvements.

    4. Vision

    • Strategize and support in building of MISC Marine’s institutional capabilities to meet the MISC Group’s vision. Support and assist in MISC Marine’s vision and directions.

    5. Networking and Development

    • Enhance networking and relationship with external parties like Classification Societies, IMO, solution providers, Green Technology forums and Maritime forums working in the similar capacity and functions, with the objective of assisting in contributing new ideas and improvements to enhance the operational and technical excellence of MISC Marine fleet of vessels.

    THE PERSON

    • Possessed at least Bachelor Degree in Marine Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Naval Architecture or equivalent.
    • Good knowledge in Marine/ Maritime regulatory requirements and related technologies.
    • Preferably candidate with minimum three (3) years of work experience in Marine/ Maritime business environment.
    • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills (e.g. Excel, Power Point).
    • Fresh graduate is encouraged to apply.
