  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

We are a public company listed on Bursa Malaysia with operations in the East Coast of Malaysia and China.

The candidate will be based in our Head Office in the Klang Valley and will report to the Group Financial Controller.

They will be responsible for, amongst others, the following:

  • Preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards for companies within our Group.
  • Assist in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial projections.
  • Assist in the preparation of quarterly reports and annual reports for announcement to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.
  • Monitor financial performance against established goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed financial analyses to support strategic decision-making.
  • Liaison with external auditors, tax consultants and company secretaries to ensure timely submission of audited financial statements, tax returns and CCM filings as well as to ensure compliance with the relevant authorities’ requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures, and identify and recommend improvements in relation thereto.
  • Monitor and control the relevant companies’ expenses and cashflows, including credit control.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance or professional qualification in ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial management or in an audit firm.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Ability to speak and/or write in Chinese is an advantage
