Prepare and Submit Declarations: Accurately prepare and submit customs declarations and necessary documentation for all import and export activities.
Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Maintain compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and company policies.
Coordinate with Authorities: Liaise with customs authorities to address and resolve any compliance issues or audits.
Monitor work order progress, ensuring that production is on track and within the planned schedule.
Oversee Shipping Schedules: Manage and oversee shipping schedules, routes, and transportation arrangements to ensure timely delivery of goods.
Coordinate with Carriers: Work closely with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to facilitate efficient shipping operations.
Track Shipments: Monitor and track shipments, addressing any delays or issues that arise during transportation.
Optimize Logistics Processes: Implement and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Act as Point of Contact: Serve as the primary contact between customs authorities, shipping partners, and internal teams for all customs and logistics matters.
Facilitate Communication: Ensure effective communication and coordination to resolve issues related to customs clearance and shipping operations.
Collaborate Internally: Work closely with other departments to integrate customs compliance and logistics operations smoothly.
Maintain Documentation: Manage and maintain comprehensive records of all customs-related documents and transactions.
Generate Reports: Produce reports on import/export activities, compliance status, and shipping performance metrics.
Ensure Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure that all documentation is accurate and submitted in a timely manner to support regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
Candidate must possess at least Secondary School/SPM/"O" Level, STPM/”A” Level, Certificate, Diploma in supply chain management, business administration or Logistics.
At least 1 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
Possess good communication skills, analytical skill and details oriented.
Proactive, Critical thinking, complex problem solving, social perceptiveness ability is a plus point.
Proactively listen to others to understand issues and situations
Able to work independently and perform overtime whenever needed.
