RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Strong communication skills and demonstrated ability to effectively work with other functional departments within the organization and outside.
  • Must be able to establish strong working relationships with Site Operations Team and project execution teams to ensure high quality deliverables.
  • Excellent technical knowledge with troubleshooting skillset.
  • Work closely with project managers and project team to ensure quality and on-time delivery.
  • Ensures quality and timeliness of commissioning deliverables.
  • Leadership of the Commissioning Team in the development and implementation of the handover and commissioning strategy
  • Prepare, monitor, coordinate, and report site activities, i.e. logistic, manpower arrangement, installation, and T&C, etc.
  • Taking lead during the CXL testing activity by managing in between customer, testing agent, consultant to get approximate result. Involve in the testing report preparations and to present the report if required.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage complex mechanical challenges.
  • Experienced professional, individual contributor in Field Service Engineering who executes advanced tasks, processes, techniques, and procedures and provide technical advice to customers.
  • Familiarized and confident with Field Service Engineering workflow and working methods, have a certain technical accumulation in Field Service Engineering field, and master the Field Service Engineering knowledge and skills.
  • Able to independently carry out Field Service Engineering tasks on the existing technology platform, be able to independently undertake Field Service Engineering task of researching, evaluating, identifying and correcting more complex problems.
  • Can independently respond to production and recommend new products or equipment upgrades that will meet customer needs.
  • Able to write Field Service Engineering documents.
  • Applies creative approaches and procedures to the solution of well-defined problems.
  • Appropriately challenges existing engineering practices and identifies practical opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Able to implement sustainable practices to achieve sustainable outcomes in all facets of practical and technical project work.
  • Works on or leads complex Field Service Engineering assignment and/or projects of medium to large scope.
  • Develops technical solutions to a wide range of complex problems.
  • Solutions are innovative and consistent with organization objectives.
  • May coach and review the work of lower-level professionals.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience working in Data Centre industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Data Center Electrical/Mechanical infrastructure, including UPS/Rectifier system, HVAC systems, chillers & cooling towers.
  • Solid technical foundation, very familiar with the architecture of data center power supply and refrigeration systems, as well as the principles, maintenance, and common faults of commonly used equipment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges in a dynamic environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other related discipline.
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.
