Job Summary:
MAHSA Health is seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Assistant Finance Manager to manage and enhance our financial operations. You will be responsible for overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and managing daily financial transactions. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with various departments and contribute to the financial health and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare monthly management reports and analyze financial data to assist in strategic decisions.
  • Manage and resolve reconciliation variances with process owners.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and updating monthly financial forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including accounting, tax, and legal matters.
  • Oversee cash flow and credit management, ensuring clear communication with the Corporate Finance, Treasury, and Credit Control teams.
  • Lead and mentor the Finance Department, providing guidance to meet goals effectively and on time.
  • Handle day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts, purchasing, claims, and reimbursements.
  • Liaise with auditors, bankers, tax agents, and regulatory authorities to ensure smooth financial operations and compliance.
  • Other tasks as assigned by the CEO and Management.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional accounting qualification preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance management.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Preferably registered with the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA).
