Key Account Manager, Personal Health Malaysia

You will plan, organize, drive and monitor the sales and promotional activities of Philips Personal Health products, and meet the key financial and non-financial parameters set out for the assigned key accounts.

Your Role:

  • Managing and supporting assigned accounts to achieve sales, profitability, inventory, accounts receivable targets, negotiation for contract renewal.
  • Build and maintain close working relationship with the assigned accounts to understand operations and business needs.
  • Create an account plan for each key-account for 2 years in which budgeted targets are translated into specific strategy and actions per account as part of the operational plan of the sales group.
  • Create and implement actionable programs for and with the key accounts to improve the performance of Philips. Conduct quarterly and yearly business reviews with assigned customer to improve performance and develop Philips business.
  • Deliver and monitoring customer’s annual business plans and monthly sales and inventory reports.
  • Manage the Sales & Operations process, forecast accuracy, price, order management, stock management, optimizing trade spend, and improving net profit.
  • Undertake regular field visits to monitor stocks, displays, build positive relationships at the store level and observe consumer/ shopper purchase patterns.
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to land marketing campaigns and initiate monthly promotions to enable target achievement.

You're likely the right fit if you possess:

  • A Diploma and above tertiary education qualification.
  • 5 years and above of key account management experience in managing Key Accounts in the consumer products or related industry.
  • Experience in managing retailers, distributors and dealers.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; and written and oral communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills with an ability to be detailed and strategic.
  • Independent with the ability to build strategic partnerships with customers across all levels.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.
