Job Description
- Facilitate the Corporate Planning process and manage developmental projects within the organization.
- Support and translate the organization’s strategies and priorities in to action plans, working laterally with various stakeholders and vertically across various units.
- Apply operational excellence concepts to plan and advise the Management by preparing, reviewing, and analyzing data, findings, leading to benchmarking and cascading of best practices.
- Develop, recommend, and implement appropriate Corporate Affairs strategies, program and policies to achieve a positive corporate image.
- Develop and maintain the group’s corporate compliance, which include the deployment and refreshment of policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and coordinate the development of standard operation procedure (SOP) and policy related Corporate Affairs.
- Ensure stakeholders compliances with related policies on corporate governance and corporate liability.
- Preparing the annual budget, manpower planning and annual corporate affairs activities in line with the functional objectives.
- Facilitate and monitor the sustainability and risk management framework of the organization.
- Develop, plan and manage the employee suggestion scheme, corporate social responsibility, wellness & recreation.
- Develop, implement and manage group wide communication and information programs.
- Develop, implement and evaluate annual self-audit plan for targeted scope for all plants.
- Monitor the expiry of relevant sales & purchase agreement.
- Involvement in internal and external audits.
- To conduct survey on issues arising in the organization; staff satisfaction survey, etc.
- Other responsibilities that may be relevant to the position.
Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Risk Management or Environmental Management and Sustainability or Social Science or any other related fields
- Possess valid driving license
- Possess minimum of three (3) years in the manufacturing industry and experience of handling risk, environmental management, sustainability, regulatory and corporate affairs.
- Required skill(s) and knowledge: Knowledge in audits, risk management, sustainability, environmental, regulatory, and corporate affairs will be an added advantage. Excellent in Microsoft Office Skills
- Personal attributes: Strong organizational and leadership skills, able to demonstrate logical and strong analytical skills and strategic thinking abilities, highly motivated and able to operate independently in a fast-paced work environment, high level of confidentiality
