Job Responsibilities

  • Work with the HRD Team and strategically plan HR initiatives that will benefit the company and encourage more efficient and beneficial work from employees
  • Coordinate and assist in all hiring and training procedures for new employees
  • Continually educate employees on company policies (where applicable)
  • Assist in employee health schemes, etc.
  • Monitor employee progress and stay abreast on company climate and culture, ensuring it stays positive and productive
  • Coordinate and direct work activities for managers and employees
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and ensure managers and employees are properly connected
  • Regularly meet with employees for progress reviews and assessments, discussing any problems or grievances they may have
  • Promote a positive and open work environment where employees feel comfortable speaking up about issues.
  • Understand and adhere to Sabah Labor Ordinance.

Job Requirements

  • Posses at least Bachelor Degree in Human Resources Management is preferable.
  • Proven experience as Human Resources Executive or equivalent.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of hands-on working experiences in the related field.
  • Experience with Human Resource Information Systems, UBS etc.
  • Fair knowledge in Labour Ordinances would be an advantage.
  • Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft 365 etc.
  • Good command of spoken & written in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Able to travel from time-to-time.
