JOB DESCRIPTION

Develop and implement company’s HR Policies and Procedures, manpower planning, performance management, training and development, compensation and benefits, payroll, and industrial relations. Responsible to coordinate the administrative functions of an organization. To oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with Top Management on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization's management and its employees.

1. Develop HR Policies and Procedures to cater for day-to-day operations of the organization:

  • a. Provide comparison of current HR Policies and Procedures against best practices.
  • b. Manage the documentation of HR Policies and Procedures, including company regulation, employee handbook, standard code of conduct, etc.
  • c. Implement all approved HR Policies and Procedures.

2. Lead and coordinate the operations of HR including payroll management, claims, leave, time management, industrial relation, performance management, and other employee matters.

  • d. Administer the calculation and transaction of employees’ salary including the identification of payroll discrepancies and payroll reporting.
  • e. Direct the calculation and filings of all employee statutory requirements (i.e. EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB & HRDF).
  • f. Administer employee benefit claims and leaves.
  • g. Oversee the administration of employees’ attendance and disciplinary issues.
  • h. Handle HR related inquiries and ensure that the organization observes all HR related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • i. Identify training needs of employees and manage logistics of training.
  • j. Maintain Employee Data Files (i.e. Employment data and Personal data).

3.To perform other HR functions

  • Create a Safe Work Environment.
  • Handle Disciplinary Actions.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Proven 3 years working experience as HR Manager
  • Able to speak Mandarin due to industry requirements
  • People oriented and results driven
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
