Our client is a Multinational Fabricator that is looking for a Production planner to join their plant in Shah Alam.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and optimize resource utilization.
- Monitor production processes and adjust schedules as needed to address any delays or issues.
- Coordinate with procurement, inventory, and production teams to ensure the availability of materials and resources.
- Analyse production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
- Communicate with sales and customer service teams to provide updates on production status and delivery timelines.
- Prepare and present production reports to management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards throughout the production process.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and effectiveness.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field.
- Min. 2 years experience as a Production Planner or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of production planning principles and practices.
- Proficiency in production planning software and tools (e.g., ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
