Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly qualified Head of Finance & Admin to lead our finance & admin department. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, providing strategic guidance, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. This role requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial leadership roles and a proven track record of success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Management:
    • Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
    • Monitor financial performance and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.
    • Manage budgeting processes, including forecasting, variance analysis, and budget consolidation.
  • Accounting Operations:
    • Supervise the accounting executive in day-to-day operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
    • Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with authorities and company policies.
    • Review and analyze financial data to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements.

    3. Financial Planning and Analysis:

    • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making processes, including pricing strategies, investment opportunities, and cost optimization initiatives.
    • Prepare financial models, forecasts, and projections to assess business performance and identify potential risks and opportunities.
    • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating plans and long-term financial strategies.

    4. Fundraising:

    • Develop and execute fundraising strategies to secure funding for organizational initiatives, projects, and programs.
    • Cultivate relationships with donors, investors, and funding partners to expand the organization's financial resources.
    • Lead fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives to engage stakeholders and raise awareness about the organization's mission and impact.

    5. Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess financial risks, including market, credit, liquidity, and operational risks.
    • Develop and implement risk management strategies and policies to mitigate potential threats to the organization's financial stability.
    • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of risk mitigation measures and adjust strategies as needed to address emerging risks.

    6. Compliance and Regulatory Management:

    • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, tax laws, and financial reporting standards.
    • Implement internal controls and procedures to mitigate financial risks and safeguard company assets.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies during audits and inspections.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus.
    • Minimum of 8 years of experience in financial leadership roles, with a strong background in finance and accounting.
    • Proven track record of successfully starting and implementing finance and accounting departments from scratch.
    • Prior experience in fintech is preferred, with a deep understanding of industry dynamics.
    • Intangible asset accounting expertise and experience in crypto conversion are considered advantageous.
    • Exceptional leadership and team management abilities are essential.
