The Human Resources Executive is responsible for supporting HR operations, specifically in the areas of HR administration and payroll for ASEAN countries. The role will ensure the timely and accurate management of HR-related functions, including payroll processing, employee data management, compliance with local regulations, and supporting employee engagement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management (ASEAN Countries)

  • Oversee and manage the monthly payroll process for employees in ASEAN countries (Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Indonesia, etc.).
  • Ensure accurate salary payments, tax calculations, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, etc.), and compliance with country-specific labor laws.
  • Collaborate with finance and third-party payroll service providers to ensure seamless payroll administration.
  • Handle payroll queries and resolve any discrepancies related to employee compensation.
  • Generate payroll reports and ensure all payroll records are maintained accurately.

2. HR Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including contracts, personal information, leave records, and statutory documentation.
  • Manage HR-related documentation, such as offer letters, confirmation letters, and termination notices.
  • Assist in the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screenings, interview coordination, and onboarding of new hires.
  • Coordinate employee benefits administration (medical claims, insurance, leave management, etc.) for staff across different countries.
  • Support the implementation of HR policies and ensure adherence to company policies and local labor laws in ASEAN countries.

3. Compliance & Statutory Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies for all ASEAN countries.
  • Prepare and submit necessary reports to government agencies (e.g., LHDN, SOCSO, etc.) and manage related documentation.
  • Stay up to date with changes in employment laws and regulations in the respective countries and advise management accordingly.

4. Employee Relations & Engagement

  • Assist in managing employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions, grievances, and conflict resolution.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, such as team-building activities, employee feedback programs, and wellness initiatives.
  • Provide HR support and guidance to employees across ASEAN countries.

5. Other HR Support

  • Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and employee experience.
  • Support the HR team with ad-hoc administrative tasks and special projects as required.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in HR administration and payroll, preferably with exposure to ASEAN countries.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Good organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
