Data Center Operations Technician

Job Description:-

• Typically requires 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• Resolves escalated data center service issues.
• Acts as key point of contact with clients on data center operations issues.
• Manages problems utilizing defined problem and change management policies and procedures.
• Supports Data Center infrastructure by installing, maintaining and repairing hardware in order to accommodate Data Center growth.
• Good understanding of server and storage hardware.
• Good understanding of networking hardware and structured cabling.
• Excels at recognizing internal and external client’s needs and expectations.
• Good records management and inventory control skills.
• Ability to perform general office requirements.
• Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
• Must be willing to work on shifts when needed and also non-standard business hours work requirement
• Excellent team player
• Ability to adapt to new environment seamlessly

Requirement:

• Associate degree or Diploma in computer science or other field and/or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years' experience supporting IT equipment or related technology.
• 1+ years' experience working in 24x7 data center environment in supporting IT equipment or related technology.
