Job Description
About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Document Control Administrator to join our Greenfield, Semiconductor equipment manufacturing facility in Johor, Malaysia where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining all controlled documents related to our Manufacturing and Engineering processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Location: Onsite - Johor Bahru

Key Responsibilities: .

  • Document Management: Create, review, and maintain controlled documents, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), work instructions, technical manuals, and quality standards.
  • Version Control: Ensure the latest versions of documents are accessible to relevant stakeholders and maintain a history of document revisions and changes.
  • Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets internal and external regulatory requirements, such as ISO standards and semiconductor industry-specific guidelines.
  • Document Distribution: Coordinate the distribution and retrieval of documents to and from various departments, ensuring timely access to up-to-date information.
  • Audit Support: Assist in internal and external audits by providing the necessary documents and ensuring document control processes meet auditor requirements.
  • Change Management: Manage the change control process for documentation, ensuring that all changes are reviewed, approved, and communicated effectively.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update the electronic document management system, ensuring data integrity and easy retrieval of records.
  • Training Support: Facilitate training sessions by providing accurate and up-to-date documents to support the learning process.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and other teams to ensure that document control aligns with operational and business objectives.
  • Any other duties assigned.

Qualifications & Competencies:

  • Degree or Diploma in any field with at least 3-5 years of experience in document control, preferably in a Semiconductor or High-Tech manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with document control software and systems (e.g., SharePoint, SAP, or similar platforms) is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Understanding of quality management systems and best practices.
