Job Purpose

To manage the tooling system and ensuring that all tools and equipment are available and maintained for production efficiency.

Job Description

Develop and manage budgets for new tools and equipment

Oversee the inventory, maintenance, and repair of tooling and equipment, ensuring they meet production needs

Liaise with vendors for quotation, purchases and equipment servicing

Maintain comprehensive records of tooling performance, maintenance schedules, and inventory levels.

Lead team in problem solving – identification of problems and analysis of the root cause

Identify and implement strategies to optimize tooling processes and reduce downtime.

You Are Meant For This Job If

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering

At least 5 to 7 years of experience in a production supervisory role
