In the Product & Technology department, the DevOps/Site Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing the FeedMe ecosystem. This position involves close collaboration with our engineering team to enhance and sustain a robust, efficient, and scalable deployment environment. A key focus is on implementing and refining DevOps automation strategies to ensure our infrastructure supports rapid, reliable, and efficient delivery of services, with an emphasis on strengthening application security across the deployment pipeline.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with engineering teams to develop and implement top-notch GitOps solutions, focusing on Kubernetes and Cloud resource configuration management for enhanced deployment environments.
  • Influence architecture design to create scalable, reliable, high-performing backend systems with integrated security measures.
  • Write product or system development code to improve the company's overall efficiency and security posture, including integration between multiple internal applications.
  • Participate in design reviews to select the best technologies and approaches for deployment environment enhancement, automation, and security.
  • Manage and improve A/B testing environments, ensuring robust, reliable, and secure testing processes.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, including vulnerability scanning and code reviews.
  • Triage, debug, track, and resolve system and security issues by analyzing their sources and impacts on hardware, network, service operations, and data privacy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 2 years of experience in similar fields, with a strong focus on deployment environment enhancement, automation, and/or application security.
  • Familiarity with modern development and deployment practices, like continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and/or secure coding practices.
  • Demonstrated experience in monitoring and maintaining large-scale production Kubernetes or cloud environments, focusing on securing those environments.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
