• Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of financial professionals to ensure financial planning and analysis are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely.
• Contribute to the development of financial strategies for a division or operating unit that align with the organization's overall vision and its current and long-term business objectives.
• Respond to complex, escalated enquiries; ensure the work of others including the financial planning and analysis projects, feasibility studies are conducted credibly and that recommendations and reports are accurate and timely.
• Analyze more complex data and prepare more complex forecasts, reports, and recommendations timely so that leadership team has accurate and timely information for making decisions.
• Establish and coordinate the budgeting systems and procedures; compile, monitor, prepare and analyze a consolidated annual budget plan as well as forecast plan; and monitor actual performance against budget and forecast, identify and analyze variations.
• Key member of the Leadership team; will need to support and business partner other departments.
• Prioritize and assign tasks to ensure that the team’s resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met.
• Establish and maintain positive, ongoing relationships with stakeholders, and the internal & external financial community.

Do you have experience working as Head of Finance?

• 8+ years of experience in Finance, with a strong background in business partnering and managing senior stakeholders, ideally within the retail/FMCG sectors.
• Strong business acumen, customer-centric mindset, and a shared team focus with logical, solution-driven thinking.
• Adaptability and a willingness to challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvement.
