  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

UAS is an engineering and software company that provides engineering service and innovative solutions for power system industry. With extensive industrial expertise, we design both conventional substations and digital substations, backed by customized software that can help customers to automate the engineering process and data management.

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer or Engineer Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that meet our company’s needs. If you are eager to build or elevate your career, UAS Innovation Sdn Bhd is the place to be!


Internship are welcome even if you're still in college/ university.


What do we need from you?

  • Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Engineering. For example, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical engineering, etc. (Preferably Bachelor Degree but if you're holding Diploma Degree, we'd still give you a chance if you're the right candidate)
  • Candidate must have received formal training and certification on software engineering, or can demonstrate the capability in software development.
  • Motivated in self-improvement through continuous learning.
  • Willing to tackle technical challenges and to find solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in application development and testing.
  • Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code with one or more modern programming languages.
  • Proficient in coding in one or more languages, such as C#, Python, etc.
  • Knowledge of the software development life cycle.
  • Basic knowledge in electrical circuits.
  • Experience or knowledge in CAD software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation would be a plus.
  • Experience of power system engineering would be a plus.
  • Adds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.

What do we need you to do?

  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Develop software solutions by studying information needs, systems flow and work processes.
  • Executes software design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.
  • Provide supportive services to industrial customers.
  • Eventually, to develop innovative solutions that can automate the power system engineering process. Examples are Automated Relay Settings, Automated Substation Design, Automated Test System, Relay Setting management system, Power System Simulation Software, etc. These solutions are mainly focused on software development that involves User Interface, Automation Logic, Communication, Database management, etc. In some integration projects, hardware design will be needed as well

We will reward you if you have the experience or willing to learn:

  • CAD design on protection and control system, using AutoCAD Electrical, WorkStation
  • 2D or 3D substation physical design using AutoDesk Inventor etc.
  • CAD drawings review and modifications.
  • SCADA system design and trouble shooting
