Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Front Office Assistant to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and lasting impression. Your responsibilities will include managing guest check-ins and check-outs, handling inquiries, and providing support to ensure a seamless guest experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Efficiently manage check-in and check-out processes, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide information about the hotel, and assist with any special requests or concerns.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are prepared for guests.
- Process payments and manage billing accurately.
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
- Assist with reservations and provide support to the front office team as needed.
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies, procedures, and standards.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front office, customer service, or hospitality role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using hotel management software.
- Fluency in English and Malay; additional languages are an asset.
- High level of professionalism, with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
