Operation
- Monitors and guides all branch operations to ensure compliance with company SOPs and requirements.
- Monitor the compliance of operational processes with the prescribed SOP and recommend workarounds/revisions to address potential shortcomings/lapses
- Responsible for the day-to-day retail operations efficiency
- Responsible for the effectiveness of the retail staff in terms of product knowledge, selling skills, customer service, SOP, and wellbeing
- Responsible for sales achievement and inventory control to ensure adequate stock supply at all branches.
- Ensure effective inventory management and accurate record keeping, including accurate demand forecasting, inventory optimization, timely replenishment, and minimizing stock discrepancies
- Propose the visual merchandise display at all branches / NEW branches in line with the prescribed layout/planogram and oversee the implementation process
- Coaches and supports new outlet management, ensuring that IT is adequately resourced and set up for success
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics-identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Setting regional goals such as sales estimates and revenue projections
- Monitoring each store's P&L reports
- Any other ad hoc tasks that are instructed by your PIC relating to your responsibilities
People
- Ensures that all branches within the area are adequately staffed at all levels
- Creates positive people culture and working environment within all outlets in areas where people are motivated
- Monitors staff retention and turnover, initiates a plan to retain the potential staff
- To assist in recruitment and training new employees
- Educating employees, assuring quality uniformity across the region, and boosting sales and profitability in their area.
- Engaging with each branch manager/ supervisor to drive all branch KPI’s
- Train, mentor, and coach store managers & assist with their career growth.
- Controlling labour cost
- Assist the branch manager / Supervisor in handling employee complaints.
- Diploma/Degree in operations management or any relevant field
- Minimum 2 years working experience in Operation Management field
- Required skill(s): Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English, Mandarin (fluent in writing and speaking)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities, work independently with minimal supervision, and thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- Must possess a vehicle and be willing to travel between the branch.
- Working Hours: 5am - 1.30pm (including 1hrs break)
- Working days: 6 days per week (off day will be fixed on Monday)
