Job Description
Our client is a reputable company in the MNC. In order to support the company’s expansion and continuous improvement, our client is looking for a talented and dynamic professional to join them as HR & Admin Manager, at Johor Bharu.
The HR & Admin Manager will be responsible for overseeing both Human Resources and Administrative functions at the manufacturing facility. This position calls for a proactive leader capable of managing HR policies, employee relations, recruitment, training, compliance, and administrative services.
Responsibility
HR Operations
- Manage all HR functions, such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and development.
- Create and execute HR policies and procedures that align with company objectives and comply with regulatory requirements.
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws and regulations.
- Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries and wages.
- Lead the implementation and ongoing management of the Workday HRMS system.
- Foster a positive work environment through effective employee relations strategies.
- Execute and oversee the performance evaluation process.
- Develop HR metrics and reports to analyze performance and recommend practice improvements based on data trends.
Foreign worker management
- Oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and integration processes for foreign workers.
- Coordinate with government agencies and third-party providers to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Address and resolve any issues or concerns related to foreign workers.
General Admin
In charge of overall office administration and operations services.
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Proven working experience as HR Manager with at least 8 years at a managerial level.
- People-oriented and results-driven.
- Demonstrable experience with Human Resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases, particularly Workday.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is a plus.
