We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Account Manager in the retail industry to join our retail software team. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and expanding our client base, developing strong relationships with clients, and ensuring that their software needs are met. You will be working with a variety of stakeholders within the retail industry, including store managers, IT professionals, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in software account management within the retail industry.

What will I be doing?

  • Identify and acquire new clients in the retail industry
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their satisfaction and identifying opportunities for growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders within the retail industry.
  • Develop and execute account plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with clients to review performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on account activity, sales forecasts, and market trends.
  • Contacting potential and existing customers on the phone, by email, and in person.
  • Preparing and sending quotes and proposals.
  • Develop sales strategies
  • Building and maintaining a CRM database.

Do I have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in software sales within the retail industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and acquire new clients, meet revenue targets, and develop sales strategies.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of software development methodologies and software product life cycles.
  • Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
