LEVEL: MANAGEMENT
SALARY: RM 5,500.00
ALLOWANCE: RM500.00 (TRAVEL) / RM250.00 (PHONE)

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
BACHELOR’S DEGREE IN EVENT MANAGEMENT / CORPORATE - MASS COMMUNICATIONS / BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION(WITH MIN. OF 5 YEARS OF WORKING EXPERIENCE IN THE SAME FIELD).
OR
MIN. DIPLOMA IN ANY FIELD (IF SUFFICIENT WORK EXPERIENCE OF MORE THAN 10 YEARS IN THE EVENTS / MASS COMM FIELD)
SKILL REQUIREMENT:
EXPERIENCED IN BRANDING, EVENT MANAGEMENT, COMMUNICATIONS, MARKETING, PUBLIC RELATIONS.
POSSESS EXCELLENT SKILLS IN ANALYTICAL AND PROBLEM SOLVING, PLANNING, TIME MANAGEMENT, ORGANISING, BUDGETING, EVENT EXECUTION AND EVALUATION OF EVENTS.
ADDED VALUE:
EXCELLENT WRITTEN AND VERBAL COMMUNICATION SKILLS TO COLLABORATE WITH SPONSORS, VENDORS, GOVERNMENT AGENCIES AND INDUSTRY PARTNERS. GOOD RAPPORT WITH THE MEDIA INDUSTRY.
JOB SCOPE:
EVENT MANAGEMENT:
- Planning, organising, budgeting, executing, and evaluating events.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and budgets.
- Develop and implement campaigns to promote events and GITC’s initiatives.
TECHNICAL:
- Must be able to utilise event management software, and social media platforms.
- Knowledge of graphic and web design tools is a must.
EXTERNAL:
- Liaise with suppliers, government agencies, industry bodies, and TVET institutions to foster and develop relations and knowledge exchange.
- Ensure continuous contact with stakeholders.
- Conduct monthly reports on activities.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the TVET landscape within Malaysia.
INTERNAL:
- Prepare Weekly and Monthly Work-In-Progress (WIP) and timelines for team members to adhere to.
- Ensure cross-departmental participation with other team members across GITC to strengthen teamwork, brainstorm new ideas, and find solutions and opportunities to enhance productivity.
