The Segment Marketing Specialist will play a critical role in developing and executing targeted marketing strategies to drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth across specific market segments. This position will require a deep understanding of the telecommunications industry, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape to create compelling marketing campaigns, enhance brand presence and thought leadership.

What are you accountable for?

  • Develop and execute Segment-Specific Strategies & Propositions: Create and implement marketing plans tailored to specific customer segments to achieve growth targets and enhance customer engagement and experience. Develop Propositions aligned with business goals and market demands of the segment
  • Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and optimize end-to-end marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including digital, social, email, print, and events.
  • Customer Insights and Analysis: Conduct market research and analyse customer data to identify trends, behaviours, and opportunities within target segments.
  • Content Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop segment-specific content, messaging, and promotional materials.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and report on campaign performance, key metrics, and ROI, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including product management, sales, and customer service teams, to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor and analyse competitor activities to identify market opportunities and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.

What do you need for the role?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in marketing, with a focus on segment marketing, customer insights, or campaign management, preferably in the B2B industry. Telecommunication industry experience would be an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles, customer segmentation, and market research methodologies.
  • Experience with digital marketing tools and platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, CRM systems, marketing automation tools).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
