Job Description
- Review work policies and procedures to ensure compliance with labor / employment laws and the enforcement of various regulations in the company's operations, and to oversee employees' compliance with the prescribed regulations
- Handle and carry out independent investigations of complex HR-related cases, violation of policies or local laws and apply critical thinking to analyze evidence and make investigative conclusions
- Assist to provide advice and counsel to businesses regarding disciplinary and labor-related issues, forging strong partnerships with HR Business Partners (HRBPs), Legal teams, and local HR teams throughout the region to offer guidance on local investigative procedures, policies, and compliance concerns.
- Assist to monitor, review and assess declarations of conflict of interest to identify and mitigate potential conflicts.
- Prepare investigative documentation, including interview questions and summary of findings
- To conduct training sessions or knowledge sharing initiatives to the ground employees and the business
- Assist to review and update regional policies to ensure compliance with the latest standards
- Analyse the root causes of integrity and compliance issues, collaborate with related stakeholders to drive risk remediation and mitigation efforts
- Perform any other tasks as assigned as needed
- Have a Bachelor’s degree or above with at least 4 years of working experience, preferably in law, industrial relations, employee relations and/or HR business partner role
- Strong knowledge in Labour / Employment / Industrial Relations law
- Experience in conducting investigations and advising on disciplinary and investigation processes
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work as a team player
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to deliver clear and succinct guidance and instructions
- Ability to exercise discretion and judgment in managing complex situations and handling sensitive information
