Job description: Job Summary
To ensure all work/project related to safety & health, environment requirements compliances. Promote & enforce in implementation of all aspect of Project Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) Managemnet & OHSAS 18001 System requirements and required regulations as per OSHA 1994 or FMA 1967 or others.
Key Responsibilities- To maintain the implementation, adequacy and effectiveness of the environmental management systems.
- To monitor and verify the implementation of suitable corrective and preventive action.
- To interface and communicate with all departments and projects sites to develop and maintain the environmental management system.
- To review and recommend amendments to company and project environmental management system documents.
- Advise senior management staff on contractual and legal environmental requirement relative to the projects
- Provide general counsel, guidance, training, education and direction to the job site safety personnel and employees
- To coordinate, review and report any feedback from clients, with a view for prevention of non-conformances and the general improvement of organization, practices and procedures.
- To schedule and conduct the environmental internal audit.
- Perform such individual assignments as the HOD may direct from time to time.
- To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.
- Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.
Diploma or Degree in Environmental or Science, with Lead Assessor for Environmental Management System
Skills & Abilities- Must possess knowledge of ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Standards
- Able to work independently
- Communicate effectively
- Write reports and liaise with external regulatory bodies
