- Optimizing brand visibility through a sustained communications of Chanel’s iconic image and strategically implementing PR and Media actions to drive the brand’s leadership creation
- Leadership in building strong relationships with external parties – Press, Influencers, Celebrities, Stylists, Agencies
- Assert and elevate our brand positioning with strong understanding of competitive landscape
- Identifying and diversifying PR and Media actions to ensure the right brand message is delivered to a targeted, qualified audience through different channels while adapting to the evolving media consumption habits of the audience
- Driving yearly communications strategic plan for Fashion and Watch & Fine Jewelry
- Drive a strong brand narrative beyond products with a focus on Arts & Culture and Sustainability at Chanel
- Collaborating with the Fashion and Watch & Fine Jewelry divisions to develop paid-owned-earned media strategy and vision according to the brand and business ambitions
- Manage all relevant media to ensure premium and impactful visibility of the brand
- Manage and lead brand-facing local media events and organize overseas press trips to ensure high brand engagement with press and influencers. Negotiate the editorial agreement and liaising with the appropriate teams to create unique editorial opportunities
- Proactively monitor local market current media trend and opportunities, and identify unique opportunities to accelerate brand actions
- Partner with other divisions (Product, Visual Merchandising, Training, Marketing & Retail) to align and drive strategic decision making for Communications initiatives
- Collaborate with Communications Manager of Fragrance & Beauty to drive cross divisional opportunities efficiently and effectively across all platforms
- University graduate, majoring in Communications, Business or Marketing preferred
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in preferred fields such as luxury, fashion in communications or media
- Experience in PR, Influencer engagement, Content Marketing, Media
- Experience working with internation stakeholders of different cultures and markets
- Strategic thinker who is visionary on long term focus and creative and innovative
- Comfortable with complexity and ambiguity, curious (personal flexibility, continuous learner), resilient
