The position aims to play a crucial role in driving sales growth and ensuring effective sales operations within the organization by supporting and collaborates with other departments to achieve sales targets, maintain strong customer relationships, and contribute to the overall success of the company.
Business Development
• Participate in development of business, sales planning, and growth strategies and develop Sales Proposal with sales pipeline to meet budget
• Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential customers by attending networking activities, conduct marketing activities, customer meetings, proposal development and customer presentations to deliver outstanding customer value
• Maintain awareness of competitor information and participate in industry association in accordance with company policy
• Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, product management) to develop proposals and present solutions that meet client needs.
• Ensure business sustainability via balancing of sales, profitability and collection.
Relationship Management & Account Management
• Develop and manage relationships with key accounts in the industrial automation industry.
• Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs/issues and ensure their satisfaction with solutions provided.
• Regularly engage with clients to assess their requirements and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities.
• Manage and coordinate with key vendors and partners to gain competitive advantage through creation and development of customer in selected vertical markets.
Sales support
• Collaborate and work closely with Application Engineers to ensure smooth project development & implementation which may include risk assessment and provision of technical solutions to meet customers’ needs
• Manage the sales process to ensure customer requirements are properly qualified prior to investment of resources
Requirements
• Diploma/degree in Engineering discipline (Mechatronics/Electrical)
• Knowledgeable in Windows applications (Word, Excel, Power Point)
• At least 3-years’ experience in Sales function
• Strong knowledge of automation solutions and their applications
• Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills
• Experience in distribution sales or a related field is a plus.
