Art Teacher (Part Time / Full Time)

* Fluent speaker of English
* Experience of teaching art to teenagers, ideally in an international school setting
* Knowledge of the of English National Curriculum, IGCSE and A level Art requirements
* Comply with teaching standards and regulations of safeguarding and health and safety
* Plan and prepare a programme of study to meet the needs and interests of the students
* Show students how to properly use and care for materials, tools, and equipment
* Manage the classroom including maintaining good discipline and standards of behaviour.
* Prepare lessons by getting materials ready and setting up equipment.
* Assess and report on students’ performance & progress to ensure they are mastering skills on a regular basis
*Use art to motivate & stimulate students' abilities
*Team spirited, reliable and passionate about working with young people
* Positive interpersonal skills with the ability to execute the vision of the arts team.
* Participate in relevant meetings, training and school events
* Undertake assigned supervision duties and lead an ECA
* Any other duties as assigned by the line manager/ school leadership from time to time
