Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment (60%):
- Lead the full-cycle recruitment process for key roles such as sales, project managers, customer experience, and customer success, ensuring that talent needs are met efficiently.
- Collaborate with department heads to define hiring requirements, source candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage the selection process.
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from the initial contact through to the final offer.
- Prepare and present weekly recruitment reports on key metrics, providing updates on hiring progress and any challenges.
HR Operations and Employee Support (30%):
- Oversee the onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure smooth transitions for all employees, following the company’s SOPs.
- Conduct orientation sessions to integrate new hires into the company culture, and manage exit interviews for departing employees, ensuring compliance with internal and statutory requirements.
- Plan and execute team-building activities and company events, fostering a collaborative and engaged work environment.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system, ensuring compliance with Malaysia employment laws, particularly regarding work passes and statutory requirements.
- Provide support for employee queries related to welfare and benefits.
Office Administration (10%):
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the Malaysia office, ensuring smooth operations and efficient office management.
- Negotiate with vendors and handle office-related services such as utilities, licenses, and courier arrangements.
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 8 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a fast-paced, tech, or international environment, with at least 3 years of in-house HR experience.
- Proficiency in LinkedIn Recruiter platform
- Proficiency in English and Chinese to communicate with regional stakeholders across Southeast Asia.
- Familiarity with Malaysia’s employment law is essential.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to multitask and manage HR events autonomously.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
