About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of an ERP system for our manufacturing plant in Malaysia. The successful candidate will work closely with a global team to ensure the project is delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Project Planning and Management:
o Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets.
o Coordinate with global teams to ensure alignment and integration of project activities.
o Monitor project progress and adjust as necessary to ensure successful completion.
• Stakeholder Management:
o Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
o Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders in a timely manner.
o Facilitate meetings and presentations to keep stakeholders informed and engaged.
• Team Leadership:
o Lead and motivate a cross-functional project team.
o Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure accountability from both IT and business teams.
o Provide guidance and support to team members to achieve project goals.
• Risk Management:
o Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
o Monitor and manage project risks and issues, escalating as necessary.
• Quality Assurance:
o Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements.
o Conduct regular reviews and audits to ensure compliance with project objectives.
Qualifications:
• Education:
o Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
o PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
• Experience:
o Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on ERP implementation.
o Proven track record of managing large-scale projects in a manufacturing environment.
o Experience in implementing ERP systems at manufacturing sites, covering functional areas such as production planning, inventory management, quality control, procurement, and supply chain management.
• Skills:
o Strong leadership and team management skills.
o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
o Proficiency in project management tools and software.
o Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional team environment.
