Retail Manager

Position: State Retail Manager

Location : Penang

Salary Package : Up to RM10,000 (Based on experience)

Job Responsibilities:

Own It:

• Lead and support the Channel Operations team to achieve state revenue targets, enhance customer experience, and ensure operational excellence.
• Plan, monitor, and evaluate the effectiveness of sales activities within the channel operations sales team.
• Implement and analyze cost-saving initiatives at respective branches to maximize potential returns and profit margins as per company targets.
• Ensure operational compliance with relevant regulations and company SOPs, including conducting periodic inspections and assessing risk reports for early fraud detection.
• Investigate and resolve branch operational issues within SLA targets, including audit findings and customer complaints.

• Collaborate with internal counterparts to resolve issues effectively.

• Provide assistance and guidance to business teams as needed.

• Learn, simplify, adapt, and act quickly based on business needs.

• Communicate with internal and external customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of experience in sales and services or a related field.
• Preferably from the retail or logistics industry.
• Experience in managing diverse and large teams—from clerical staff to managers.
• Willingness to travel nationwide to drive sales and service performance across all touchpoints.
• Strong background in compliance and risk management.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Excellent networking skills, able to build rapport and secure new partners.
