About the Role

Responsible for overseeing the collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data to drive decision-making, improve marketing performance, and support business growth. This role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, and leadership to ensure the company's marketing strategies are data-driven and effective.

Responsibilities

1) Data Collection & Analysis:

  • Lead the marketing analytics team in gathering and analyzing large datasets from various sources (digital campaigns, sales data, market research, etc.).
  • Use statistical tools and software to provide insights into customer behavior, market trends, and competitive performance.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to present key marketing metrics (KPIs) to senior leadership.

2) Strategy Development:

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and product teams to define and refine marketing strategies based on data insights.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to improve campaign performance, audience targeting, and overall marketing ROI.
  • Support decision-making related to product launches, pricing, and positioning by providing market and customer insights.

3)Team Leadership:

  • Manage and mentor a team of marketing analysts, fostering their professional development and ensuring the team meets its analytical goals.
  • Ensure collaboration between the analytics team and other departments like digital marketing, product management, and sales.

4) Campaign Optimization:

  • Continuously monitor and assess the performance of marketing campaigns.
  • Provide recommendations for optimizing campaigns to maximize conversion rates, customer engagement, and return on investment (ROI).

5) Market Research:

  • Oversee market research projects, identifying trends, emerging markets, and customer preferences.
  • Lead efforts to analyze competitors and benchmark company performance against industry standards.

6) Budget & Resource Allocation:

  • Work with marketing leadership to allocate resources efficiently based on data-driven forecasts and insights.
  • Provide data to inform budget planning, ensuring that funds are spent in the most impactful areas.

7) Innovation & Tool Implementation:

  • Stay up-to-date with new analytical tools, technologies, and methodologies to improve the accuracy and efficiency of marketing analytics.
  • Recommend and implement new tools for data collection, analysis, and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 10 years of experience in marketing analytics, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Required Skills

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, SQL), statistical software, and marketing automation platforms.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, draw insights, and make strategic recommendations.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership: Proven track record in leading and developing a team of analysts.
  • Business Acumen: A deep understanding of marketing principles, consumer behavior, and industry trends.
