As a part of our team, you’ll help deliver seamless IT experiences and support to our internal employees by providing responsive helpdesk service, stable networks and reliable IT systems.

As a procurement associate at Corporate IT, you will be responsible for IT products procurement to support various business units. You will serve as the primary interface and act as process owner responsible for managing suppliers and internal customers. In this position, you will play a key role in procuring high-quality and cost-efficient supplies for the organisation. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of inventory and incoming IT purchases and supplies.

Job Description

  • Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
  • To source, negotiate and establish purchases for IT goods and services
  • Build up and maintain the inventory of all current and upcoming purchases
  • Review and analyse spend, vendors/suppliers, commercial terms
  • Maintain and update the list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and potential future development
  • Work with IT technical team and HQ procurement team to propose good solutions from commercial perspective, ensure out-coming high quality products/supplies
  • Participate in negotiation for the best deal for pricing and supply contracts, and propose the best value option from suppliers

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree of business administration, accounting or related field is preferred
  • Knowledge of commercial relationship build-up and procurement techniques/process
  • Experience in negotiations and networking
  • Strong analytical skill, accurate and precise attention to details
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
  • Good resource of supplier solutions is added advantage
  • Work experience in IT Suppliers/IT industry is added advantage
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and willingness to learn in a fluid and fast-paced environment
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively at all levels and with HQ Procurement team
