  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Accountant to join our team. The Head Accountant will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the company, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company’s growth objectives. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international financial regulations and standards.
  • Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
  • Conduct regular financial analysis and provide insights to senior management for informed decision-making.
  • Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
  • Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and ensure timely completion of audits.
  • Monitor and manage company financial risks and opportunities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a professional accounting designation (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian financial regulations and accounting standards.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
